Clitoral hood reduction (hoodectomy) removes or reduces excess skin folds covering the clitoris. Often performed alongside labiaplasty as part of a comprehensive genital aesthetic treatment.
The Procedure
Under local or general anaesthesia, approximately 30–60 minutes. A precise amount of tissue is removed or repositioned, preserving underlying neurovascular structures to maintain sensitivity. Dissolvable sutures used.
Recovery
Light activities within a few days; full recovery in 4–6 weeks.
