Perineoplasty repairs and tightens the perineum — the tissue between the vaginal opening and anus — addressing changes caused by childbirth, ageing, or as a complement to vaginoplasty.
The Procedure
Under local or general anaesthesia, approximately 30–60 minutes. Excess or scarred tissue is removed and underlying muscles are tightened. Dissolvable sutures throughout.
Recovery
Avoid strenuous activity for 4–6 weeks. Sitting comfort improves progressively over the first two weeks.
